Thank you to everyone who came down for the opening of Careful! That could cut. It was nice to meet new people, catch up with old friends, and celebrate the fabulous illustration that is happening right here in Calgary.
One of the stars of the show were these cute tree guys, made by Byron's better half, graphic designer Kelly Johnson and based on characters in Byron's paintings.
As with previous shows we had one of the tables set up for doodling, and kids of all ages participated - what a treat! The last photo is Vaughan, the son of another illustrator and designer couple - Sandy Nichols and Elmer Xavier. What a great doodle!
