All digital jobs

A while ago I started playing around with painting images entirely in photoshop. These are a couple of the first jobs (did them a few months ago) using this method. I liked the forgiving nature and the color control of photoshop. The first one is about the closing of airport smoking rooms and the second is an article about South African wine.

UWAGA!

I am finally getting around to setting up an online store to sell prints and books and such for Renata and myself. It will be at uwaga.ca (as soon as I get it finished up - later this month). So last week I tried to do some logo design, in the end I decided to go with type integrated in the illustration. More fun for me, I can change it for each usage. Because it is not an english word (polish) I think I need to be careful and make sure it is fairly clear to read.

Really liking the bike thing, wonder why hell I hadn't got one before! Dislike driving, but walking was limiting my range of travel. Hoping to do as much work and sketching outside of the studio as I can this spring/summer. Here is some sketch painting from yesterday. First page done with lunch and sketching in Riley Park. Second page that evening at Starbuck's on 4th Street SW.
