Classes at the University of Guelph officially begin today. New students attending the university
will be receiving a student association handbook which features this cover illustration and
twelve color interior illustrations.
This was a pretty sweet job, the client allowed me creative control of the overall concept and the
individual illustrations. This trust allowed me to put everything I could into each and every
illustration, and I feel good about all of the images (something that is not always possible to say).
One lesson learned - eighteen individual characters (plus a pair of legs) is a bit too many
for an illustration that only had a few days to get done!
